Peter Marsh – Teacher
I have been working at Trinity for almost the entire length of my time in Austin, TX. I moved here, in March of 2009 from my home in Staten Island, NY. I left behind a loving family, but eventually started one of my own here, with my beautiful daughter Pepper and her equally beautiful Mother, Shari. You can meet Pepper, in the infant/ toddler room when you drop off your children at service time. Together, along with the ever-helpful Sasha, we corral the various little ones that want to play, while their parents are in the sanctuary.
I consider Trinity to be a second family. The staff and community have always been caring and welcoming to me, and my family since day one. They have watched my daughter grow, and they have been there for me through every event I have experienced in Austin.
Before I left New York, I dabbled in Magazine Editing, Poetry Writing, being a bassist and performing Stand up comedy. So far, I have only been able to keep up with writing, in Austin, but I am always looking for eager peers with whom I can collaborate.
I work with Austin Travis County Integralcare during the week, helping individuals with developmental disabilites. Besides Trinity and Integralcare, I also tutor on the side and am pursuing a Physical Therapist Assistant Degree at ACC.
Feel free to stop in the Infant/ Toddler room and say “Hi.” One thing I have learned from working at Trinity is that it is always easy to make a new friend.
