The Hope Food Pantry at Trinity United Methodist Church provides much needed food to families in our community each week. On an average month, the Pantry provided over 400 children with nutritious food and other staples such as diapers, juice, soap, etc. As Austin's unemployment rate rises, so does the number of families knocking on our doors in need of help. Our empty shelves are a strong reminder of the increased demand for help and our decreasing supply of funding. We are constantly in need of volunteers and resources to help us with our mission. The Pantry is a fun place to volunteer and the experience of helping the families who come to us is very rewarding. |

MissionTo help alleviate hunger by providing nutritious food, personal care items, and social service information to those who need them. Our hope is to sustain, strengthen and educate needy individuals and families within the community.
About UsThe Hope Food Pantry is a 100% volunteer-staffed and donation-funded non-profit organization. The Pantry serves over nine zip codes in the Austin area by providing bags of groceries to those who fall below TEXCAP income guidelines. Trinity United Methodist Church provides space and utilities at no cost to the Pantry, so 100% of all donations go directly to the people who are served. |
